I've bought a few thousand of these and have had no issue. They are clear sleeves, front and back are clear, made for 1 cd. Although, you can fit 2 cds comfortable and 4 cds max, but very uncomftable and crammed in. They will protect from scratches and spills of liquids, but they are very thin and just plastic, so they offer no protection from dropping, throwing, stepping on, being eaten by a dog, etc.
They are what you think they are.
